Daredevil Hall

I had the chili and it was homemade and excellent. I went for happy hour and I do appreciate they have pizza specials and burger specials for happy hour. The people next to me ordered the $5 smash burgers and these were huge burgers--definitely a value at $5. The service was great, bartenders very friendly. There just hasn't ever been a crowd when I've gone in, so be prepared for a quieter time here.

This place totally took us by surprise. When I think beer hall/brewery food, I always just think "throw whatever together and see if the microbrews can hide the mediocrity". LOL! I apologize if I offend anyone. But Daredevil Hall doesn't do that. The burgers are creative and delicious. I really enjoyed my chicken sandwich. It was savory, sweet, and a touch of mild sour from the jalapeno peppers. Super good! I even liked the crispy Brussels sprouts. Our server was a dashing Viking named Adam. Great guy who just gives a sh*t about taking care of people. There are a few other burgers we'd like to try. Price to portion and quality... wonderful!! Will definitely go back.

I’d been wanting to try this place for a while and finally got around to it. First, service isn’t very good. We were left standing at the door for quite a while before we were even acknowledged. When we asked about seating, we were treated as if we were an annoyance. Additionally, we were rarely checked on. This was disappointing. The burger is actually pretty good and so were our two meads. However, I wasn’t impressed with the chicken wings. Neither flavor had enough sauce and they were WAY too crispy to the point that they’re almost dry. They seemed like they had been air fried but we were told they’re just double fried or something like that. While the burger and fries and mead were good, I’m not sure we really have any reason to return.

Came here for the first time on a Wednesday evening for dinner and drinks. Arrived with the parking lot so packed full of cars that I had to park in the adjacent lot - not a big deal. The parking situation was not due to everyone being at Daredevil Hall. I walked in with several places in the bar area to choose from. I can’t say the same for the dining area which was full of people playing trivia. Based on my first impression the place is pretty small in general. I was greeted pretty quickly and found something to sip on which was a bourbon type mixed drink. It was fine, nothing crazy. I would have gone for a beer but really nothing sounded good to me on their menu. I settled on a jalapeño burger which was pretty good as well. Seems smash burgers are their thing. Service was attentive, but dare I say too attentive? We were catching up and the lady stopped by 5 times before we knew what we wanted to drink. We honestly felt rushed and a bit uncomfortable. Catch a vibe lady! Anyway as an enjoyer of brewpubs, I’m glad I stopped by to try but this certainly doesn’t pick off my favorite for first place around the area and doesn’t land in my top 5 or even 10. I didn’t find anything particularly special or unique about the place. It wasn’t so bad that I’d advise against going. It was just average to me.
